Encapsulating light within individually made spheres, the 84.20 Multi-Light Pendant by Bocci is an arrangement created by sculptor and designer Omer Arbel. Capturing a white glass moil within a fine copper mesh basket, each element is crafted when plunged into hot clear glass and shaped with air. White glass escapes through the textured metal surrounding it, creating a pillowed form that is suspended within the thick outer glass. Throughout the fabrication process, the copper mesh crinkles and folds within some pieces. The surface of each exterior glass forms subtle undulations, and the inner pattern escaping its metal basket vary for a truly unique collection of lighting elements.
