The motor housing is stainless steel and the standard-size #32 grinding assembly itself is cast iron. The gear box is fully enclosed and the oversized 3-HP motor is gear driven; the entire unit runs on 220V/60Hz power. The PSE-32HD will grind 14-18 pounds of meat per minute or about 900 pounds per hour. The large-mouth feed throat includes a safety guard and there is a built in safety cutoff that shuts the motor off if the pan is removed.
