Originally designed in 1972, the Verpan Wire Table Lamp features a coiling metal base capped with a glossy plastic dome. At first glance, the design is quite stark, but changes once the light is turned on, illuminating the plastic shade with a comforting glow. Beneath the glossy plastic dome a chrome base holds the light source in place, and partially reveals itself through the metal wires, ultimately contributing a solid modernity to the ambient light.
