Hand-fabricated and polished metal rods cross over like the lines of an x and y-axis. Their asymmetry captures a sculptural intrigue that invites the eyes to travel around. Cast glass diffusers follow the edge set by the metal to create graphic lines with a helping of texture. To create the textured glass, artisans combine excess material from the studio’s blown glass process in an intricate cast process. These shimmering rods transform with a magical quality as warm LED light seeps into their sea of crevices. For task purposes, another LED module sits under the horizontal rod for a uniform stream of illumination.
